Terms of service
Draft — not a final international agreement. This is an English translation of the current Korean draft. Legal review and the effective date are pending. International inquiries and applications are currently handled individually; payment, tax and contractual arrangements must be confirmed before any transaction.
1. Purpose
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Few&Fine, the design pitch platform operated by PlentyPaper (플렌티페이퍼) (the “Company”).
2. Nature of the service
The Company connects reviewed designers with design contests hosted by clients and facilitates payment of pitch fees to participating designers. A contest inquiry does not create a contractual obligation. Under the proposed service model, a hosting agreement is formed when the client confirms participation after receiving the proposed designer lineup and pitch-fee details.
3. Pitch fees
Once a contest is confirmed, all participating designers are paid a pitch fee. The fee compensates work preparing a proposal and is not refundable simply because the client does not select a concept.
4. Full project
If the client selects a concept, the full project with that designer proceeds under a separate agreement, with the Company facilitating contracting and settlement. The full project agreement determines the scope of any transfer of economic rights in the work.
5. Designer registration
Designers are registered after passing the Company’s review process. Any practical task required as part of that process is paid.
6. Permission to publish
A completed project’s business name, outputs and designer profile are published in the portfolio only with separate permission from the relevant parties.
7. Settlement and tax — Korean service draft
The following provisions reflect the Korean draft and do not establish tax or payment treatment for international transactions:
- The Company acts as an e-commerce intermediary, rather than a party to the service transaction between client and designer, and facilitates collection and payment.
- Pitch fees and full project fees are consideration for services supplied by each designer to the client. Tax invoices or cash receipts are issued in the designer’s name, with the Company acting as an issuance agent. Platform fees are invoiced in the Company’s name.
- Pitch fees are participation payments for proposal-preparation services, treated as business income in the Korean draft. Payments to designers without business registration are subject to withholding as required by applicable law.
- Displayed amounts exclude VAT. Payment timing and settlement details are communicated in advance through a cost breakdown.
- Payments may be processed through a payment service provider designated by the Company, including escrow or payout services.
