Designer review

How we select designers.

As we build the network, we look at each designer’s work, their role in it and how they work with clients. Public ratings and rankings are not part of the review.

Three stages

What we look for.

01 · Portfolio

Work they can explain

We ask designers to show client projects and explain their contribution. We look for well-executed work in their discipline and evidence that it is their own.

02 · Paid task

How they approach a brief

Where needed, we use a short paid task to see how a designer interprets a brief and explains their choices. We confirm the fee, deadline and required work before they begin.

03 · Conversation

How they work with clients

We ask how they clarify requirements, handle changes and keep clients informed. We also discuss deadlines, feedback, contracts and rights to the work.

Building the network

Review first, then match to the project.

Preparing the first reviews

We are preparing to review the first group of designers before launch. Profiles will be published after review, with each designer’s permission.

A team for your brief

For each project, we also check relevant experience, availability and working language. Passing the review does not mean a designer will be the right fit for every brief.

Your next step

What are you working on?

Tell us what you need, your budget and when you need it. We will discuss what is possible before you decide to go ahead.
